Long fabled for its revered vertical descent and challenging terrain, large scale capital investments are aimed at making it an all-round ski resort with something for everyone. Particularly for families where the combination of a Kids Ski Free program and affordable accommodation make it an attractive proposition.

Accommodation is divided between Teton Village at the base of Apres Vous Mountain, ideal for die-hard skiers and the town of Jackson Hole, some 20 minutes away where most of the action is.

Après Vous Mountain is the gentler companion to Rendezvous; (Rendezvous Mountain has a huge reputation for its gnarly terrain, when you ride the shiny red tram to the summit). The terrain is a lot easier going and a place to go when you have been humbled.

St John’s is a wonderfully pitched cruiser on which to build speed without too much concern. There are some widely spaced trees here to wend your way through in a relaxed fashion – you can pretty much ski where you please.
