Val d’Isere, part of the Espace Killy, is regarded by many as the finest ski resort in the world. It is easy to see why it has earned such a reputation, with its amazing variety of sking, fabulous snow record and excellent choice of nightlife.

Val d’Isere is linked with Tignes to form the Espace Killy ski area, one of the largest and most varied ski areas in the world offering approx 300km of marked piste.

The heart of Val d’Isere dates back to the 13th Century. There has been a significant level of development in recent years with all new buildings finished in wood, slate and local stone creating an attractive and vibrant modern ski resort.  There is something here for everyone, from brasseries to piano bars, from pizza to gourmet restaurants. The famous Dick’s Tea Bar and the Café Face, along with many other popular haunts, are open late into the night for those who have the energy.

There is a free bus service, ‘Le Train Rouge’, that operates around the resort throughout the day and continues until 2am.
