Méribel is at the heart of the Trois Vallees, the biggest ski area in the world with 600 kilometres of pistes.
Méribel has its own extensive ski area which also provides easy access to the slopes of neighbouring Val Thorens, Les Menuires, Courchevel and la Tania. The village has a traditional alpine style with picturesque chalets constructed from local stone and timber.
The lively village centre has plenty of shops, restaurants and bars giving a wide selection of après ski and nightlife.
The Méribel valley offers a vast choice of pistes suited to all standards of skiers and boarders. Beginners can enjoy the Altiport area whilst leisurely skiers can take pleasure in the flattering boulevard pistes flanked by gourmet restaurants. There are plenty of challenging runs for intermediate and advanced skiers, whilst the notorious Courchevel couloirs and Chanrossa bumps will keep even the most expert skier occupied.
