Since 1936, Alpe d’Huez has developed at an altitude of 1860m on the Grandes Rousses Massif: Pic Blanc, the highest point of this massif at 3330m, has a panoramic view rating three stars in the Michelin Guide. You can see many miles over the Ecrins National Park and its prestigious peaks, the Rateau, la Meije, la Muzelle, the Aiguilles d’Arves, along the Belledonne Chain and the Mont Blanc.  A landscape covering almost one fifth of France, from Italy to the Massif Central.

All levels of skier ability, from Beginner to Expert, are well-catered for in Alpe d’Huez and the resort is known as one of the highest resorts in the Southern Alps, providing a full range of challenging slopes for all standards of enthusiast.

Set high on a south facing plateau, the resort is typically French in style, with a lively après ski scene with numerous restaurants, bars and clubs.
