Whistler/Blackcomb’s majestic mountain scenery and spectacular array of ski and non-ski activities draw visitors from around the world. Originally home to loggers and fishermen, the area now provides endless adventure for winter sports enthusiasts. The resort is situated in British Columbia’s Coast Mountain Range, just 75 miles from Vancouver. Set at the base of both Whistler and Blackcomb mountains, the town’s pedestrian-only streets provide international restaurants, cafés, bars, and shops that appeal to many tastes.
Whistler Villages is divided into four unique areas: Village North, Upper Village, Whistler Creekside, and Whistler Valley. Restaurants abound throughout the village with cuisine ranging from the Bavaria’s alpine menu to the Cows at Whistler’s dairy bar. Each mountain offers nine restaurants, as well. Plenty of clubs and pubs provide a festive backdrop for après-ski activities.
